Fair celebrates women entrepreneurship, talent and self-reliance; shoppers throng venue for festive shopping<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Varanasi, The Vidisha Branch of the Akhil Bharatiya Marwari Mahila Sammelan successfully organized the grand “Vidisha Haat” at Shubham Lawn, Mahmoorganj, on Monday with the objective of promoting women entrepreneurship and empowerment. The fair featured around 70 stalls showcasing a wide range of products by women entrepreneurs from Varanasi, Prayagraj, Delhi, Vidisha and several other cities, making it a vibrant hub for business, shopping and self-employment.
The event was inaugurated with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by renowned designer Annie Jain, BJP Mahila Morcha State Treasurer Ranika Jaiswal, and Agarwal Gems proprietor Vishal Agarwal. Several prominent citizens of the city also attended the inaugural ceremony.
The programme was jointly conducted by Cultural Ministers Meenu Poddar and Shweta Kedia. Running from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., the fair witnessed an enthusiastic response from visitors. With the upcoming festive season in mind, the wide variety of products available under one roof attracted a large number of shoppers, especially women.
Exhibitors expressed gratitude to the organizing team and coordinators Neetu Murarka, Alka Bajoria, Sandhya Agrawal and Meena Agrawal for providing an excellent platform to promote their products and expand their businesses.
Branch President Saroj Tulsyan welcomed the guests, while Secretary Preeti Bajoria thanked all dignitaries, exhibitors, supporters and visitors for making the event a grand success.
Among those present were R.K. Chaudhary, Cantt MLA Saurabh Srivastava, Treasurer Chandan Khemka, Founder President Madhu Tulsyan, Shobha Sindhi, Sunita Jindal, Sunita Kandoi, Krishna Chaudhary, Kshama Agrawal, along with members of the Vidisha Branch and their families.
