Musical evening enthralls audience as over 800 traders and citizens attend the grand celebration<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Varanasi: Kashi Natiniyadai Vyapar Mandal celebrated its 14th Foundation Day with great enthusiasm at The Royal Green Garden, Navalpur, on Wednesday. The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guests, followed by a Ganesh Vandana performed by dancer Palak. Guests were welcomed with bouquets, traditional angavastram and mementoes. Singer Priyanka Pandey and her team captivated the audience with a vibrant musical performance.
Chief Guest and Saiyadraja (Chandauli) MLA Sushil Singh said that traders play a vital role in the country’s economic growth by promoting business and generating employment opportunities.
Former Minister Meena Chaubey, the Guest of Honour, described the trading community as the “economic soldiers” of the nation, while former Vice-Chairman of Banaras Bar Binit Singh praised the Vyapar Mandal for its significant contribution to regional development, calling traders the modern-day Bhamashahs.
Founder Rajesh Srivastava urged traders to remain united and stressed the need for collective efforts towards the formation of a Trade Commission. Vyapar Mandal President Pankaj Singh highlighted the organisation’s commitment to safeguarding traders’ rights while actively participating in social initiatives such as supporting the marriages of underprivileged girls, running the “Neki Ki Deewar” campaign, organising health camps and blood donation drives.
On the occasion, five distinguished businessmen were honoured with the prestigious ‘Anmol Ratan’ Award for their outstanding contribution to the trading community.
Among those present were BJP Jan Kalyan Manch Mahila Morcha State President Pooja Singh, State Vice-President Pradeep Singh, Mahila Morcha State Vice-President Soni Singh, Kashi Region President Saurabh Kumar Singh, Anurag Singh Badal, along with leading members of Nagar Udyog Vyapar Mandal including Sanjeev Singh Billu, Prateek Gupta, Rajesh Trivedi, Rakesh Middha, Ashok Agrahari, and several prominent traders and dignitaries.
