Outreach program by Union Bank ECLGS 5.0-<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Union Bank of India, the leading bank of the district, organized an outreach program at Rudraksh Convention Center, Sigra. Mr. Satyendra Kumar (IAS), District Magistrate, Varanasi was present as the chief guest of the program. Mr. Anupam Deva, National Secretary, Indian Industries Association, Zonal and Regional Heads of various banks, Ms. Nidhi Kumar, Convener, SLBC, Lucknow, Sonika Rana, NABARD, Mr. Rajesh Chaudhary, Assistant Director, MSME, Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Jan Samarth, NCGTC, and more than 500 entrepreneurs participated in the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. T. Kameswara Rao, Zonal Head of Union Bank of India, welcomed the guests and informed them that loans totaling \u20b9515 crore have been distributed by various banks in the district. Loans up to 20% of the maximum working capital for the March 2026 quarter are being made available to MSME entrepreneurs at affordable interest rates, without any charges, for five years. Under the scheme, loans up to \u20b9100 crore per entrepreneur are being made available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The District Magistrate presented a check worth \u20b9515 crore to entrepreneurs, and Sanction letters and cheques were distributed to more than 300 customers at the event. The District Magistrate called for the distribution of loans totaling more than \u20b92,000 crore under this scheme. He advised entrepreneurs to expand their businesses through innovative experiments. He praised the program, organized by leading bank Union Bank of India, as a commendable effort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anupam Deva advised entrepreneurs to take maximum advantage of this scheme and appreciated the efforts being made by leading banks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ms. Nidhi Kumar explained that the main objective of this program is to promote it as widely as possible and raise awareness among the general public. This initiative by the district’s leading bank, Union Bank of India, is a positive step. Union Bank Area Head, Shailendra Kumar said that this event was organised under the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme launched by the Government of India to help entrepreneurs overcome the crisis of working capital created in the industrial sector due to the West Asia crisis. Leading District Manager Avinash Agarwal highlighted the progress of the district’s banks and vote of thanks was given by Mr Neeraj Ojha. Deepak Singh, General Manager, PNB, Bharat Bhushan, Bank of Baroda, Sanjeev Kumar, Uttar Pradesh Gramin Bank, Lanka Ramesh, Canara Bank, and executives of other banks were present in the programme.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
