Rotary Club Varanasi Varuna Distributes Fruits and Sweets at Old Age Home
Varanasi, October 4: Rotary Club Varanasi Varuna organized a service initiative at an old age home in Sarnath on Sunday, distributing fruits and sweets among the elderly residents. Club members also interacted with the senior citizens, enquired about their well-being and spent time with them.
Club President B.N. Dubey, Secretary Advocate Ajit Maurya, Charter President Ali Jafar, Padma Bhushan Mangala Kapoor, along with members Satish Seth, Satyam Kasera, Shakuntala, Geeta and Manoj, were present on the occasion. Old age home manager Om Prakash and Dr. S.K. Pandey also attended the programme.
The Rotary Club members said that spending time with senior citizens and extending support to meet their needs is an important social responsibility. The initiative conveyed a message of service, compassion and social commitment.
