Karni Sena Raises Concern Over Ram Temple Donation Row, Kashi Vishwanath Darshan Facilities and Power Outages; Warns of Protest

Varanasi, July 5: Karni Sena, Varanasi, held an important organizational meeting on Sunday, where office-bearers expressed serious concern over the alleged irregularities related to donations at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, difficulties faced by local devotees at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, and the continuing unscheduled power cuts in the city. The organization urged the administration to take immediate and effective action on these public issues.
State Organization General Secretary (Uttar Pradesh) Veer Pratap Singh stated that the alleged irregularities involving donation money and offerings at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple should be investigated through a fair and high-level inquiry, and those found guilty should face strict action. He said that any negligence or irregularity in matters related to public faith is unacceptable.
District President Manglesh Tripathi demanded that a convenient and hassle-free darshan system be ensured for local residents, especially senior citizens and the original residents of Kashi, at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple so that they do not face unnecessary inconvenience.
The meeting also voiced strong resentment over the city’s persistent unscheduled power cuts. The organization said that frequent electricity disruptions amid intense heat and humidity are severely affecting the daily lives of residents. It warned that if uninterrupted power supply is not restored promptly, Karni Sena would be compelled to launch a public protest in the interest of citizens.
The organization further cautioned that if the administration fails to take timely and effective steps to address these issues, it will begin a phased agitation, holding the government and district administration responsible for the consequences.
Among those present at the meeting were Rahul Tripathi (District Organization General Secretary, Varanasi), Naveen Singh (Senior Vice President), Pooja Singh “Neelu” (Media In-charge), Ankit Mishra (General Secretary), Shubham Singh “Seenu” (President, Advocates’ Cell), Shubham Yadav (Minister), Deepa Singh (State Vice President, Karni Sena Nari Shakti), Sonam Singh, Tanuja Singh, along with several other office-bearers and workers of the organization.
