Ranjana Ojha Takes Charge as President of Inner Wheel Club Varanasi Swarn Manjari; Underprivileged Girls Receive Bicycles and Educational Support
Varanasi: The installation ceremony of the Inner Wheel Club of Varanasi Swarn Manjari was held in a dignified atmosphere at a hotel in Sigra. The event was conducted under the guidance of PDC Mamta Dwivedi, while District Chairman Madhu Kamani graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The newly elected executive committee for the 2026–27 session took the oath of office and secrecy. Ranjana Ojha assumed charge as President, while Seema Singh became Vice President, Rishika Mishra took over as Secretary, Pratima Singh as Treasurer, Vijaya Bajpai as ISO, and Roshni Agrawal as Editor.
Students of Shadaj Sangeet Academy presented vibrant cultural performances, adding colour to the ceremony.
Marking the occasion with a strong commitment to social service, the club distributed bicycles to two underprivileged schoolgirls. PDC Mamta Dwivedi also pledged to bear their complete educational expenses, including school fees, and personally donated the bicycles.
As part of the club’s ongoing social initiatives, members collected old newspapers and distributed them to underprivileged women engaged in making paper bags, helping them generate sustainable livelihoods through self-employment.
Club members extended their best wishes to the new leadership and reaffirmed their commitment to carrying forward initiatives focused on social service, women’s empowerment, education, and environmental conservation during the new session.
