Railway Pensioners Discuss Pension and Healthcare Issues

Varanasi: The annual convention of the Sarnath branch of the Northeast Railway Pensioners Association was held on Sunday at Hotel Anant Inn in Sarnath. Chief Guest Amiya Raman, Executive President of Bharat Pensioners Samaj, inaugurated the convention by lighting the ceremonial lamp.
The convention witnessed detailed discussions on various issues concerning retired railway employees and pensioners of the Northeast Railway. Key issues included the resolution of pension-related problems, simplification of healthcare services, including REHS/Medical Card facilities, welfare of pensioners, and organizational matters of the association.
The association also reviewed its activities and income-expenditure statement for the previous year and discussed its action plan for the coming year. A large number of retired railway employees, along with provincial and local office-bearers of the association, participated in the convention.
President Rameshwar Prasad expressed gratitude to all the retired railway employees present at the event, including Munni Lal, Bhanu Prakash, Devendra Mani Tripathi, Mithilesh Singh, Deepak Srivastava, Asit Kumar Mukherjee, Ashok Kumar Pathak, Ram Niwas and Rajiv Jaiswal, among others. The programme was conducted by Ratna Rakesh Ranjan.
