Ritika Dubey Files Nomination, Vows to Raise Voice for Teachers’ Rights


Varanasi: Ritika Dubey, candidate from the Varanasi Division Teachers’ Constituency, filed her nomination papers on Tuesday, pledging to work consistently for the rights, welfare and resolution of issues faced by teachers.
Dubey, State Vice-President of the Madhyamik Vittavihin Shikshak Mahasabha, said that teachers are the strong foundation of the education system. She said her priority would be to effectively raise the concerns of all teachers, including unaided teachers, before the concerned authorities and platforms.
The Varanasi Division Teachers’ Constituency comprises Varanasi, Chandauli, Mirzapur, Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Bhadohi, Sonbhadra and Ballia districts. During the nomination, office-bearers of the organisation, school managers, principals and teachers were present.
Dubey said she would work continuously for the dignity and rights of teachers, service-related issues and better working conditions. She also assured that issues concerning teachers would be raised firmly at the appropriate forums.
Executive State President Akhilesh Singh ‘Fauzdar’, State Vice-President Umakant Mishra, Varanasi District President Pramod Kumar Mishra, Mirzapur District President Krishnakumar Dubey, Chandauli District President Sanjeev Yadav, Jaunpur District President Shraddhey Gupta and Ballia District President Manoj Kumar Singh, along with teachers and other office-bearers, were present.
Teachers and supporters expressed their support for Ritika Dubey during the nomination and hoped that she would strongly represent issues concerning the teaching community.
