New Divisional Executive Committee of NER Employees Union Formed
Varanasi: The divisional ad-hoc election of the North Eastern Railway Employees Union was held on October 7 under the chairmanship of Radheyshyam Mishra. Subas Chandra Yadav was elected President, Shyam Kumar Jha Executive President, while Manoj Kumar Singh, Shashi Bhushan Mishra, Mannan Thakur, Rahul Kumar, Vinay Kumar Chaubey and Sikandar Kumar were elected Vice-Presidents.
Arvind Kumar Singh was elected Divisional Secretary, Gopal Acting Divisional Secretary, and Amarnath Singh and Shri Narayan Chaturvedi Joint Divisional Secretaries. Jitendra Tiwari and Abdul Akhtar were elected Organising Secretaries, Avinash Kumar Mishra, Devanand and Shambhu Prasad Assistant Secretaries, Manoj Kumar Chaturvedi Treasurer and Uttam Upadhyay Divisional Publicity Secretary.
The election was held in the presence of Central President Ramesh Mishra, who briefed members about NFIR’s views on the 8th Pay Commission and bonus. The meeting was conducted by Divisional Spokesperson P.D. Srivastava and the vote of thanks was proposed by Haridwar Yadav. Murari Mishra, Anand Mishra, Santosh Singh Kushwaha, Sumit Maurya, Prashant Srivastava, Brijesh Kumar, Jaishankar Prasad, Govinda, Sanjay Tiwari, Mohammad Javed, Rajesh Kumar Singh, Amitabh Gautam, Jitendra Yadav, Saroj Kumar, Amitesh Kushwaha, Ramkesh Meena and Amit Mehta were also present.
