Rotary Club Blood & Organ Donors Holds Second Installation Ceremony
Varanasi: The Second Installation Ceremony and Official Club Visit of Rotary Club Blood & Organ Donors, Varanasi, Rotary District 3120, was held at Hotel Varuna, Sigra, on Sunday. District Governor Poonam Gulati was the chief guest, while Founder President Rajesh Kumar Gupta presided over the समारोह.
Club Secretary Dr. Ashish Gupta presented the annual report highlighting the club’s service activities. Sangeet Rai and Prof. Madhu Singh conducted the programme. The new team for the Rotary year 2026-27 and district members were introduced during the समारोह.
During the event, Anuraj Maddheshiya, Shalini Sharma, Ashwini Singh, Abhimanyu Verma, Dr. Abhishek Gupta, Vijay Singh, Divyang Singh, Dhawal Kumar, Prof. Madhu Singh and Hariom Rastogi were inducted as new members of the club.
As part of its social service initiative, the club also provided a sewing machine to a needy girl to help her become self-reliant.
District Governor Poonam Gulati appreciated the club’s service initiatives and called upon members to further expand their social service activities.
Former District Governor Hari Mohan Shah, Dr. V.N. Singh, Uttam Agrawal, Sanjay Agrawal, Anil Jajodia, Prashant Nagar, Devashish, Ayushman Sureka, Rahul Chaurasia, Dr. Laxita Varshney, Jai Prakash Maurya, Rupesh Gupta, Vishal Gupta, Krishna Mohan Gupta, Nagendra Jaiswal, Anil Kumar and Dr. Amit Maurya, among others, were present.
Rajesh Kumar Gupta, Dr. Ashish Gupta, Rahul Chaurasia and Nagendra Jaiswal played key roles in organizing the समारोह. Dr. Ashish Gupta proposed the vote of thanks.
The club resolved to further expand its service initiatives in the coming year in the areas of blood donation, organ donation, healthcare, education and self-reliance.
