
Devotion and Spirituality Mark the Grand Conclusion of Shrimad Bhagwat Katha in Khatoura
Varanasi: The Shrimad Bhagwat Katha organized in Khatoura village under the Baragaon police station area concluded on a devotional and spiritually charged note. Katha Vyas Dr. Chandramani Tripathi, former principal and renowned grammarian, delivered an insightful narration covering various divine episodes of Lord Shri Krishna and the salvation of King Parikshit.
During the concluding sessions, devotees listened to the episodes related to the marriages of Lord Shri Krishna, the curse of the sages on the Yadu dynasty, the end of the Yadu dynasty, King Parikshit’s fear of death and its resolution, his salvation, Janamejaya’s serpent sacrifice and Narada’s experience of overcoming attachment.
At the conclusion, devotees were urged to regularly remember the name of the Lord and promote love, brotherhood, compassion and service in society.
Chairman of Shri Balaji Group, Amit Kumar Mishra, attended the programme and listened to the Katha with devotion before seeking blessings from the Vyas Peeth. He said that Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is not merely a religious event but also a source of spiritual inspiration that guides people towards a meaningful life. He emphasized that devotion to Lord Shri Krishna inspires people to follow the path of truth, love, service and righteousness, adding that adopting spirituality and values in daily life is essential in the present era.
