
Social Worker Radha Singh Inspires Self-Reliance Among Persons with Disabilities
Varanasi: An exhibition-cum-sale of handmade products created by persons with disabilities was organized at Shubham Lawn in Mahmoorganj, Varanasi. The initiative aimed to promote self-reliance, financial independence, and economic empowerment among differently-abled individuals.
A large number of visitors attended the exhibition, appreciated the participants’ craftsmanship, and purchased their handmade products, encouraging their talent and boosting their confidence. The event also appealed to society to support and promote products made by persons with disabilities, helping them achieve sustainable livelihoods.
Speaking on the occasion, social worker Radha Singh, Women Wing Head of Saksham, Kashi Province, said that she has been working voluntarily for several years to promote the welfare, dignity, and self-reliance of persons with disabilities. She emphasized that such initiatives not only enhance their confidence but also provide them with opportunities to become economically independent through their skills.
Radha Singh further urged every member of society to support and purchase products made by persons with disabilities, stating that collective participation can play a vital role in realizing the vision of an inclusive and self-reliant India.
