Railway Pensioners Discuss Facilities and Pending Issues
Varanasi: The monthly meeting of the Pensioners Association of Railway, Varanasi Division, was held on Wednesday at the PRKS office in Lahartara under the chairmanship of association president B.K. Singh. The meeting was conducted by Basant Rai.
Various issues concerning the facilities of railway pensioners and their family members, medical services and problems faced by senior pensioners were discussed. Members emphasized the need to issue Family Identity Cards for pensioners and their family members, ensure prompt action on pending cases of pensioners above 70 years of age on priority, and install display systems at medical units to provide information regarding the availability and distribution of medicines.
