Non-Local Coherence: Entangling Ayurveda Avatarana with the Quantum Mechanics of Consciousness.

VARANASI At the recently concluded International Conference on “Cutting-Edge Research in Ayurveda: Transforming Global Health” (ICCRA-2025) hosted by Banaras Hindu University (BHU), a revolutionary thesis was presented that challenges the boundary between ancient “myth” and modern physics. Dr. Pushpa Kulanatha proposed that the traditional descent of Ayurvedic knowledge the Avataranais not merely a theological story, but a sophisticated descriptive language for Quantum Mechanics. Redefining Myth as Quantum Reality The study reframes the emergence of Ayurvedic cognition from the divine to the human as a graded model of Non-Local Coherence. Dr. Kulanatha argues that what was once called “miracle language” is actually a novel way to describe highly coherent, non-local states of consciousness. In this model, the “descent” is a scientific transition from subtle Dhyänic fields to the human mind. The Arahant: The Medium for Celestial Blueprints
A central pillar of the research is the role of the Arahant (liberated sage) and the Yukta-ghana dhyānic consciousness. Dr. Kulanatha posits that the Arahant’s mind serves as a universally open medium that links the divine and human spheres. This specialized consciousness allows for Quantum Tunneling-a phenomenon where information “jumps” across seemingly impassable barriers. In the context of Sri Lankan history, this allowed the architectural blueprints of the Bharani Goddess’s celestial palace (Vimāna) to “jump” into the physical masonry of the great stupas of Anuradhapura.

While traditionally viewed as purely religious monuments, recent scholarly investigations into the archaeoastronomy of Sri Lanka suggest these layouts are sophisticated “cosmic maps”. Dr. Kulanatha’s findings align with emerging academic theories that the specific positioning of these three great stupas mirrors the three stars of the Orion Constellation’s belt.This alignment suggests that ancient Sri Lankan masters were not merely building on the ground; they were “downloading” a celestial geometry through the Yukta-ghana dhyänic mind of the Arahant. By anchoring the Orion blueprint to the carth, these sages created a “terrestrial resonance” with the stars, effectively turning the sacred city into a living, non-local field of healing and cosmic order. By aligning mind and architecture, these ancient sites represent a “New Health” paradigm where consciousness is the central variable for global well-being. A New Scientific Frontier, The research concludes that Ayurveda’s native model of consciousness, combined with the Buddhist psychological insights found in Sri Lankan traditions, provides a precise language that anticipates modern physics and neuroscience. By demonstrating that the Avatarana describes real quantum-style mechanics of the mind, and that Anuradhapura’s stupas are its physical evidence, Dr. Kulanatha invites a global collaboration to transform health through ‘Non-Local Coherence.
