Neeraj Niyotia Becomes Secretary, Anamika Mishra Elected Treasurer; Tourism Fraternity Extends Congratulations

Varanasi/New Delhi, July 29: The biennial elections of the Uttar Pradesh Chapter of the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI) were held on Wednesday at the ADTOI headquarters in New Delhi. In a significant victory for Varanasi, travel entrepreneur Santosh Singh was elected Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Chapter with a decisive mandate. Neeraj Niyotia was elected Secretary, while Anamika Mishra secured the post of Treasurer. The election of Varanasi representatives to all three key positions has been welcomed by the city’s tourism and travel fraternity.
Expressing his gratitude, newly elected Chairman Santosh Singh said the chapter would work closely with the Uttar Pradesh Government to promote tourism and improve facilities for visitors across the state. He added that the organization plans to organize roadshows in various cities to boost tourism and take effective initiatives for the welfare of stakeholders in the travel and tourism industry.
Newly elected Secretary Neeraj Niyotia announced that a large-scale membership drive would be launched across Uttar Pradesh to bring more tourism professionals from Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Varanasi, and the Buddhist tourism circuit under the ADTOI umbrella. He emphasized strengthening coordination among tourism stakeholders through the organization.
Treasurer Anamika Mishra said that every effort would be made to further strengthen the chapter’s activities and ensure active participation of members for the overall growth of the tourism industry.
Members of the tourism fraternity described the election as a proud moment for Varanasi, stating that the city’s representatives securing all three major positions reflects its growing influence in Uttar Pradesh’s tourism sector.
Prominent personalities who congratulated the newly elected office-bearers included Ravi Gosain, President of IATO; P.P. Khanna, National President of ADTOI; Prateek Hira, Chairman of the FICCI Uttar Pradesh Tourism Committee; Rahul Mehta, Chairman of the National Tourism Committee of the Indian Industries Association; Vikram Singh, Vice President of IATO Uttar Pradesh; Subhash Kapoor, President of VTG; and Rashid Khan, President of VTA, along with several other leading members of the travel and tourism industry.
